Summer Freeze

In honor of the summer solstice, I decided to post one of my favorite summer beverages:

Summer Freeze
Ingredients:

1 orange creamsicle flavored  yogurt (Yoplait)
1 lemon meringue flavored yogurt (Yoplait)
2 cups ice
1 cup milk (add more if needed)

Instructions:

In a blender add the 2 cups ice, then add the orange creamsicle and lemon meringue yogurt. Add 1 cup milk. (You may need more milk.)
Blend until it has a snow-cone consistency.
Pour into glasses.
ENJOY!! :)

Sadness

Sadness is an emotion everyone faces, but it is how you deal with it that matters. Sadness is a temporary emotion between happiness and revelation. It is an emotion that is quite impossible to understand, there are many different types of sadness. The amount of sadness you have depends on how you see the glass; half empty or half full. If you choose to look on the bright side of things, the glass is half full. If you choose to look on the gloomy, depressing side of things, nothing will ever go your way.

Quote of The Week

Life will steer you into rough waters, but it is your choice whether to crash, complain, or adjust the sails.  -Anonymous

Summer

Summer is around the corner, and everyone can barely wait to hit the beach and relax (for the most part), I found a quote that may describe how most of us are feeling:

"Time always seems long to the child who is waiting - for Christmas, for next summer, for becoming a grownup: long also when he surrenders his whole soul to each moment of a happy day."

While this does talk about other parts of the year (and life), it does describe our impatience for new opportunities and upcomings!
